Some CoverMe users are confused why their Android phone cannot receive CoverMe’s call and text notifications sometimes. The reasons could be that your phone’s notification settings are not correct or that a third party app may be blocking CoverMe.
Firstly, please make sure that your phone’s notification settings are correct. Please also make sure notifications are enabled for CoverMe. Enter your Android phone’s Settings->Application Manager and find CoverMe. Enter the app info screen for CoverMe and make sure the “Show notifications” option is ON.
If you have verified that your phone’s notification settings are correct, then it’s possible that CoverMe is being interrupted by third party programs in the background.
CoverMe needs to stay in the background to receive incoming calls and messages, so please do not terminate the CoverMe app after you close it. Some third-party battery-saving/memory-saving apps may terminate CoverMe. Please add CoverMe to their safe list.
